Wood Working

My father had a small shop in the basement and he would let me hammer nails into pieces of wood and cut them with a saw in a mitre box. In grades seven and eight I took shop class with a teacher Mr. Van who helped me make a picture frame and a boat that I still have today and in grade nine my shop teacher gave me the tools to make my own baseball bat.

I’ve loved being in the shop ever since. Woodworking is an ongoing learning process but I in particular like making pens. You can see some of the projects I’ve made by clicking on posts in the woodworking category.
