Sometimes I like to change the setting on people’s toasters when I’m in their kitchen.

I don’t often visit Reddit.com, but I somehow ended up there and I came across this really funny thread. It was titled Sometimes I like to change the setting on people’s toasters when I’m in their kitchen.

Reddit users are a funny bunch because many of the replies illicited LOLs from me, including:

I like putting chicken bullion cubes inside people’s shower heads.

I like to exchange my underwear with a clean pair I find in someone else’s home.

I like to blow out pilot light on people’s ovens

I like to write on their to do lists. If you follow Stephen Wright’s example:

To Do: Buy Milk Pick up Johnny from practice at 5:30 Memorize distances between all of the planetsI like to teach their pets to talk.

I poop in the top part of people’s toilets.

I like to put confetti in peoples toasters. They nice flaming party the next time they want toast.

Do you have any favourite ‘habits’ when visiting a friend’s house?

This is just confusing

I was reading a Toronto Star article the other day about two women who married in Toronto but are actually from Indiana. They now want to get a divorce but since Indiana doesn’t recognize same-sex marriages they can’t get divorced there. Ontario requires at least one of the people in the marriage to live in the region for one year before proceeding with a divorce which is just impossible, the estranged couple says.

While that is certainly a catch-22, it’s not what I found confusing. It’s the picture of the two brides figurines used with the story and the cutline that reads “Two brides at a lesbian wedding day.”

What? I have so many questions. Those are just figurines, they can’t be straight or gay. How are they at a lesbian wedding day? I’m so confused.
