What to do when Google Docs won’t load

Mathieu | December 7th, 2009 | No Comments »

The other day, Google Docs just wouldn’t load for me. I have no idea what was happening or why I couldn’t log on. It was very frustrating.

I searched and searched and at the end of the day, the only tip that worked for me was clearing my cache. Someone else suggested deleting all Google related cookies

Clearing my cache magically worked. I simply cleared the cache, quit and restarted the browser and there were no more problems.

Google is giggling over Yahoo! takeover bid

Mathieu | February 7th, 2008 | No Comments »

I came across this take the other day about Microsoft’s takeover bid for Yahoo! I don’t often read Scobleizer’s blog but when I saw the headline I had to give it a read. I agree with Scobleizer on this topic. There’s no way that a Microsoft and Y! merger would do anything of consequence to take a bite out of Google’s dominance in online advertising.

What makes anyone think that by combining these two companies they’d be any better than they do separately. Microsoft won’t even build Web standard browsers, how do they expect they’ll endear themselves to consumers by growing larger but not better?
