Ellen Degeneres is currently holding a contest where she’s invited viewers to send in videos of themselves singing in the bathroom. My father, John Yuill, is a big Ellen fan so he immediately took to planning his bathroom video. This is the result and what he’ll be submitting to the contest.

What’s in the bathroom magazine rack?
Was taking a gander at the bathroom magazine rack and found the collection kind of amusing. As you may know, I do a lot of reading in the bathroom – hey, it’s one of the only places you can get some quiet around our house – so we keep a fairly stocked magazine rack.
Anyhow, here’s an inventory of what’s currently in the magazine rack:
- A few issues of Canadian Home Workshop
- Last month’s issue of Fast Company (this month’s is in the living room)
- Three issues of Harvard Business Review
- A North American Mac World
- That’s CAR magazine out of the UK in the front (it’s really good, this chap I know, Michael Banovsky should do photography for them)
- That’s another UK magazine on the floor, about Macs.
- And Wired magazine on the top
- Oh right, and a Nintendo DS in its carrying bag
That’s right, a Nintendo DS. But it’s not mine. That’s the only thing in there (aside from the shoes, but they’re not in the magazine rack) that doesn’t belong to me. It’s loaded with Brain Age 2 – Alison plays it throughout the day and she loves it. I’m just curious if it will go with her to work when she’s done with maternity leave or if it’ll stay in the bathroom

Pretty happy about the WP iPhone app that let’s you blog from the phone. I always loved testing from the bathroom and now I can take that to the next level – blogging from the can!
