Alison and I realized that two children means you must need a king-sized bed.
We discovered this recently when Connor just wouldn’t sleep and so we took the rare action of taking him out of his room and putting him in our bed. We don’t do this very often but it seemed like a necessity this particular night if we were going to get any sleep.
Within about ten minutes of coming into our bed he had fallen asleep and moved perpendicular to Alison and I. His head was on her stomach and about every two minutes he would kick me in the ribs.
Our bed arrived on Friday and I love it. Love it love it love it. We got ours from Sleep Country and our bed is a “demo,” whatever that means (hopefully nothing gross) but we paid about $1,600 for it including box spring and frame.
If we had known one could be had for so little we would have skipped the queen and been in one of these bad boys for the past nine seven years that we’ve been married and sharing a bed.
