A lot of people are upset about the iPhone pricing in Canada. I’m not too concerned now that I can mix and match a voice plan with the introductory $30/6GB data plan. My current blackberry plan is as follows:
500 minutes
free evenings/weekends
enhanced voicemail
data services (I think 6 megs)
call display
call forwarding
$137.50/month
The iPhone plan I came up with thanks to a friendly Rogers rep is:
450 outgoing minute
unlimited incoming minutes
free evenings/weekends (after 9 p.m., telus was 7 or something)
enahnced V
call display
call forwarding
125 text messages
100 CDN long distance minutes
visual voicemail
6 GB dataplan
$119 with all taxes and fees.
So I’m pretty happy about that.
