Back on the Watch: Week 2 -1.6 lbs.

A chart of my original weight loss from April 2005-April 2006

my weight loss

Week 2 weigh in: 243.6 lbs., -9.7 lbs. overall
I’m very happy with my progress over the last two weeks. I weighed in this morning in my bathroom and was happy to see I was down weight. I’m not really interested in any kind of “maintaining” until I lose at least 20 pounds, until then I want to see at least a pound a week and after that if I go down .5 or .7 or something per week it’ll be more bearable.

I was really proud of myself this past Friday when my coworker, Vish, came to by my office and brought two Kinder Surprise eggs. I heart these things big time. But after checking the nutritional information I gave them away. They’re 110 calories per egg and with numbers in the fat column and none under fibre it wasn’t worth the two points it would have cost me.

Alison and I did a great shopping trip to pick up good food that fills you up but doesn’t pack on the calories including, Weight Watchers bread (1/4 the points than regular Wonder Bread), boneless/skinless chicken breasts, Thinsation snacks, fat free yogurt and other goodies. So far I haven’t wanted for anything beyond what we’ve bought.

If you know of any good WW friendly recipes, please forward them along to me as I’m sure my limited cooking imagination will get boring soon

About Mathieu

The problem is I have a few too many interests. Yeah I love tech stuff, but I also love driving cars and then there's the woodworking and not the least of which is the learning thing. So for now I'm collecting them all in one place and this is that place.
