Back on the Watch: Week 1, -8.1 lbs.

I’m not too surprised by this total. YES, I’m happy that I’m now down to 245.2 lbs. but I’m pretty confident two factors contributed to this higher-than-average weight loss:

  1. I was sick all week and not as hungry as normal
  2. It’s easier to lose weight quickly at first when you have a lot of it to get rid of

My single biggest weight loss before was 7.5 lbs. and that week I was deathly ill, but was going from 230 lbs. to 223 lbs. or so. The next week I gained 1.4 lbs. back but I wasn’t upset because I was finally eating properly again. But hey! I’m down some weight and that’s great. One of the things that helped me this week was finding Kraft Peanut Butter cookie Thinsations. I know it’s cool to hate a company owned by Philip Morris. But if you are like me; trying to lose weight, loves peanut butter, can be thrown off the wagon for weeks with a knife and a jar of Jif … then these are for you.

Hooray for Peanut Butter cookie Thinsations!
